1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, signing up for membership, or participating in our classes, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Membership

2.1 Eligibility

Membership is open to individuals of all ages, subject to appropriate class placement. Members under 18 require parental/guardian consent.

2.2 Payment

Membership fees are due in advance as per your chosen payment plan. We accept direct debit and card payments. Failed payments may result in suspension of training privileges.

2.3 Cancellation

Members may cancel their membership by providing 30 days written notice. Refunds for unused portions of prepaid memberships are at our discretion.

3. Training Rules

• All members must complete a health declaration form before training
• Appropriate training attire and equipment must be worn at all times
• Members must follow instructor guidance and safety protocols
• Disrespectful behaviour towards staff or other members will not be tolerated
• Training while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited
• Members must inform instructors of any injuries or health conditions

4. Liability and Risk

Martial arts training involves inherent risks of injury. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Morton Martial Arts maintains appropriate insurance and safety measures, but cannot be held liable for injuries resulting from normal training activities.

Members are responsible for their personal belongings. We recommend not bringing valuables to training sessions.

5. Photography and Media

By training at Morton Martial Arts, you consent to photographs and videos being taken during classes for promotional purposes, unless you opt out in writing.

6. Class Schedules

We reserve the right to modify class schedules, instructors, and locations. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

7. Code of Conduct

All members are expected to:

• Treat all members and staff with respect
• Maintain good personal hygiene
• Keep training areas clean and tidy
• Arrive on time for classes
• Use techniques responsibly and with appropriate control

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate membership without refund for serious violations of these terms or behaviour that endangers others or damages our reputation.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
